The trust continues working with Austerfield Field Study Centre in providing facilities for environmental education. Access is maintained for the general public and information boards provided. Fencing improvements have been made and volunteers work to ensure safety for visitors and maintain the environment. Benches and picnic tables have been provided to enhance visitor experience. A programme of providing suitable pathways from recycled materials to improve access for wheelchair users. |

The Trust maintains the reserve so that all visitors can safely enjoy the area. With a view to increasing availability to the reserve for wheelchair users, a programme of installing suitable paths using green materials is under way. Guided walks have been provided to promote knowledge of Fungi for anyone wishing to attend and studies of moths and other aspects of the environment have taken place. |
