Objects: For The Rehabilitation Of Prisoners In The UK And In The Republic Of Ireland, Thereby Reducing The Likelihood Of Them Committing Further Offences, In Particular But Not Exclusively By : (1) The Provision Of Free Educational And Academic Literature Approved By The Trustees To Serving Prisoners, Particularly To Those Studying Open University Courses And For Other Recognised Qualifications; (11) Enabling Prisoners To Take An Active Interest In The Pursuit Of Knowledge Which May Improve Their Chances Of Finding Work Or Pursuing Full-Time Education Upon Release; (111) The Provision Of Suitable Educational Course Details To Serving Prisoners; (Iv) Funding Any Legitimate Reasonable Educational Need Of Any Serving Prisoners Unable To Pay For Themselves; (V) Liaising And Co-Operating With Other Organisations Operating In Furtherance Of The Objects.
