The main activity during this financial year has been the installation of a 280 metre deep borehole to replace the original much shallower borehole which was becoming more and more inadequate to support the Childrens Mission. Also the installation of a range of ‘stand alone’ Solar panels to power the borehole’s 3 phase pump, etc. Overground Water Storage Tanks with a capacity of 50,000litres have been installed together with a Rainwater Harvesting system being intalled to collect water from the roofs of the various large buildings on site. The surplus of water has also lead to the excavation for two Fish Rearing Ponds.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
It has also been possible to finance the addition of a Science Lab and a fully equipped Computer Room for the onsite registered School.
