The objectives of the Association shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Greater Manchester and in particular those of the Shi’ite Muslims in a manner consistent with the teachings and traditions of the Shi’ite faith (Fiqua Jafaria) without distinction of sex or of political or other opinion by the following: 1.1 Providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of such inhabitants with the objective of improving their conditions of life. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its 1.2 Providing facilities for religious functions and the performing of governing document religious rights and ceremonies in accordance with the Shi’ite faith including marriages and funerals. 1.3 Advancing education concerning the Muslim religion and culture. 1.4 Establishing or securing the establishment of a centre and managing or co- operating with any local statutory authority or organisation in the maintenance of such a centre for activities promoted by the Association in enhancement of the above objectives. The main activities undertaken were: • Provide services to the community • Providing programmes for all demographics in the community (men, women, children and especially OAPs)

The Trustees are responsible for the keeping of proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the Summary of the main financial statements comply with the Charity Act 2011. They are also activities undertaken for the responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence to take public benefit in relation to reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other these objects (include within irregularities. this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Section D Achievements and erformance p The charity has had a successfully year raising donations from the UK Summary of the main public. These donations sustain the charity, in terms of programme achievements of the charity expenditure, payments towards operating costs(light/heating/water). In during the year addition, Al Raza foundation has held numerous programmes for the community to cater for all demographics.
