Page 7 Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Charitable Trust Trustees. Annual Report (continued) Year ended 31st August 2024 Soft Services We identified that post-mastectomy bra fittings remain a vital aspect of support for our patients. A properly fitted bra or prosthesis plays a key role in enhancing mental wellbeing during an emotionally and physically challenging period.. To ensure accessibility, we provided "Bra-saries" free of charge to the patient with each individual visit, fitting, and supply of a properly fitted bralprosthesis amounting to £110. The overwhelmingly positive feedback reinforced the value of this service in supporting patients, mental health during such vulnerable times. We also provide support on request for wig serVI￿S for those in need. Hug-in-a-bag scheme Attending your first chemotherapy or radiotherapy session can be extremely daunting. Especially if you must attend alone. That's why we have created our 'Hug-in-a-bag' initiative. We wanted to create a useful, practical resource which would provide everything a patient might need during these aggressive. yet critically important treatments. The bags contain 'common sense, items such as a water bottle, moisturiser and a good book. It also contains less 'obvious items, including a blanket (as the treatments can impact body temperature dramatically) hat and gloves and a dark nail varnish (to hide the discoloration that the treatments can trigger). From August 2023 - August 2024, we have provided over 1262 bags at a cost to the charity of £45 each. These bags were donated free of charge.

Page 14 Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Charitable Trust Trustees. Annual Report (continued) Year ended 31st August 2024 Third Party Events We were very lucky to be chosen as the beneficiary charity of several third-party events and we hosted our own 'smaller' fundraiser of 80 guests in October 2023, which raised over £4,000. Makin a difference in our communi WE'RE HERE FOR You. ALWAYS. OUR TEAM IS BACK ONLINE, HERE TO HELP. JOIN US ON BREASTMATES CENTRAL AND FIND YOURSELF IN OUR COMMUNITY. WWN.LFBC.ORQ.UK Our Future Plans Fundraising efforts by third party supporters continues to be slow. As a result, as a Charity we continue to explore new opportunities to attract new supporters and tap into new opportunities to fund raise and continue to be sustainable going forward. As we have now successfully expanded our Hugs in a Bag offering to a significantly greater number of hospitals (and by extension a greater number of breast cancer patient) our aim is to expand the support services to a wider group of people across the areas that we are now reaching with our bags. This includes bringing in more Support Workers to ensure that the support being provided to a greater number of individuals does not decrease.

Page 15 Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Charitable Trust Trustees, Annual Report (continued) Year ended 31st August 2024 The main objective for Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer has always been to raise awareness of breast cancer in our area of support and to make sure people know what the signs are they need to be looking out for. We are also determined to promote awareness in all our diverse and ethnic communities. Also, if they are called up for a mammogram appointment, we make sure that they fully understand the importance of attending their appointments as early detection saves lives. This continues to be our main objective to ensure early diagnosis. Within our fundraising strategy we continue to seek ongoing Corporate Sponsorship and Grant funding. The Corporate Sponsorship is a key aim of ours, as not only does it assist with financial support, but it promotes community engagement with the Charity. We do receive assistance with funding from the National Lottery to enable the progression of the Charity. Given the uptake in our services and the increased demand year on year, it has been necessary to bring on more paid employees and consultants, to ensure that we are meeting the demand and putting the structures in place to support the financial viability of Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer for many years to come. We will continue to strive, to provide support to our local cornrnunity, and to ensure that no one feels alone on their breast cancer journey. Financial review The results for the year. and the financial position at the end of the year, are shown in the attached financial statements.
