Catwel (Cardiff) exists to provide temporary care for stray and abandoned cats and where possible find good homes for their future welfare.

Objects: (1) To Relieve The Suffering And Distress Of Cats And Kittens Who Are In Need Of Care And Attention In Such Ways As The Trustees Shall Decide Including But Not Exclusively, The Following Ways;(a) The Provision Of Veterinary Treatment And Neutering Services For Feral Cats;(b) The Rehoming Of Stray, Neglected And Unwanted Cats, And The Taming And Rehoming Of Kittens From Feral Colonies(c) The Provision Of A Shelter For Treating Unwanted, Sick And Neglected Cats.(2) To Relieve The Poverty Of Cat Owners In Necessitous Circumstances By Providing A Neutering Service And By Assisting With The Payment Of Veterinary Bills.
