Activities

The charity's objectives are: to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation for disabled people; to promote and encourage recreational sailing by disabled people through co-ordination and integration with sailing clubs and associations. The trustees achieve this by undertaking fundraising activities and making appropriate grants.

Objects: The objects of the Charity are, for the benefit of the public, the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation of the sport of boating by (but not exclusively by):a) the provision of facilities, equipment and training for participation in boating;b) the provision of grants and other assistance to individuals in need by reason of their youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; c) the advancement of education of the general public on boating and water safety and environmental protection of the seas, inland waters and marine coastal habitats;and in any other ways which are exclusively charitable under the laws of England and Wales as the Trustees may from time to time think fit.
