Rachael Started the meeting by thanking everyone for attending the meeting, she said it was lovely to be able to all sit down together face to face instead of via computer screens, she said that she would start by addre55ing the a¢¢ounts. Account5 Our Accounted for year ending 31" August 2021 Total Income £167.646.73 Total Expenditure £172,542.19 We are slowly adding small amounts back into the reserve, We had a fundraising day October where the local binmen played football and we had a raffle, the funds we raised were £2000.00 we are hoping to save 50 we can provide the Children with a new playground surface. All staff that are eligible and those that wanted to opt in to the pension are completed and this is running smoothly. Rent is currently £15.50 per hour however we have received a letter from The Littlemoor Charity and they have informed us that from I. April 2022 the rent will be increasing to £16.50 per hour, an increase of I 1.00. We have therefore add a look into the fees and myself and the management have decided that the following fee5 will come into place from April 2022 £13.00 Per session £3.00 Per lunch Club £50p per session snack We still have a few parents who have outstsnding balances, these are being monitored now via the committee 2nd letters have been sent out. We are meeting again next month to discuss courts for one parents who owes a substantial amount.

And the older children are able to be challenged more. We have children on the waiting list ready for September. We are losing numerous children for school intake in September currently this stands at 19. Connor Connor left the setcing in the summer holiday has he decided he no longer wanted to work in child care. We wished him all the best we were Sad t0 See him leave and the children have missed him but he occasionally still pops into the setting and said that he will remain in touch. maneMenti Rachael thanked Kelly for stepping up into manager role whilst Hope was hospitali5ed in December. Hope is currently awaiting treatment for sever migraines. Kelly is happy to take the load from Hope to help release stress from Hope. Rachael informed staff that issues relating to downst2irs should be taken up with the their Team Leaders, and only management if the Team Leader are unable to address the 51tuation or require help. Hope thanked everyone for their support. Kelly has spent the last 6 months being tested do to weight loss etc and they have found that she has celiac disease and has chronic wheat allergy to all Wheat family. Kelly 15 fine and will continue her role and responsibilities. Rxchiel asked if there were any further issues that had arisen. At present all stsff ind committee members were happy and no concerns. Leaders report – April 2022

Welcome back

We are still under some restrictions with COVID-19 but everyone understands what to do and what extras to continue e.g. temperatures, extra cleaning and wiping frequent touched surfaces.

It is much sadness and heavy heart that the setting will be closed 10[th] May 2022 for the funeral, she is having a horse and cart, Lucy was the baby of our pre-school family and it has effected us all losing her to a car accident at just the age of 17. Lucy had been with us since leaving school and was part of the Little Ted room. Lucy was 2 months away from finishing her level 2 qualification and becoming a full member of the team, we have decided to ho,d back on filling Lucy’s role until the summer holidays out of respect.

Staffing

Madie has had a few weeks off from course work, but is now back on track and has a new assessor.

Loz has left us again, this time to go work in another nursery to become a deputy manager, we wish her luck.

We have had some changes to the committee, Rachael as stepped down from chair person due to personal issues and is contemplating leaving the committee, Faith Tye was voted back to chair person and Gemma Poultney has a relief chair.

Training

In house training continuous throughout the year, Committee have now completed training both in house and online.

Kelly is currently working on new training to continuously promote staffs knowledge and understanding.

Learning Journeys

Kelly going to be checking files in the next few weeks due to holding parents meetings and preparing reports and to support transition for those children leaving July for Reception start in September.

Tracking

New tracking system to be looked into and to prepare for the next term. With all being trained once Kelly as found a suitable one.

Illness

All staff have had COVID -19 at some point some even twice,

In the past month 3 children have reported to have had COVID-19, 3 Staff Members have had COVID-19 and 3 Children have had chicken pox.

Ofsted

Walk around questions have been completed by Kelly and we will be doing mock Ofsted inspections to help ease staff and to help with their anxiety around Ofsted. This will also highlight what we need to work on, change and to help all of us prepare for the next inspection and hopefully this will put us all to ease and it will run smoothly again.

Monies

We need to look at some fundraising to help with costs and to save for a new playground surface for the children, rent has gone up £1.00 per hour from 1[st] of this month and there as been an increase in minimum wage, we have looked and accounts and have decided that fees need to go slightly up to cover for this.
