The objectives of the Trust a5 set out in the Declaration of Trust are to apply the whole of its income and capital for the benefit of such exclusively charrtable causes as the trustees may. in their absolute discretion. think fit. During the year 72 charitieslresearch organisations have recewed donions amounting to £1.164,150. Financial Review At the 6alance Sheet date. the Trust held cash reserves of £1.914.861 available to be distributed as cnaritable donations and unlisted investments with a value of £J.268.789. Rlsk Management The trustees have assessed the maior risks to which the charity is exposed. and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks. All payments made by the Trust require the dual authorlsation of both Trustee5 to mitigate any risks with the use of the Trust funds. Plans for Future Period The trustees will continue to attively seek to identify worthwhile charitable causes to receive donations from the Trust.
