The Newbury Community Resource Centre Limited helps local people by providing furniture, household goods, training and services to support independent living. We help people to develop work and social skills, and encourage environmentally beneficial activities by promoting re-cycling and re-use.
Objects: (a) The Relieve Of Persons Who Are In Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Infirmity, Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Re-Used Furniture And Household Goods To Support Independent Living.(b) The Relief Of People With Special Needs Or At Social Disadvantage In Particular By The Provision Of Training And Work Opportunities.(c) To Advance The Education Of Members Of The General Public, Particularly In Environmental Matters.(d) To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment For The Public Benefit By Promotion Of Sustainable Waste Management Practises Including Waste Minimization, Mimimization Of Pollution And Harm From Waste , Reuse Of Waste, Recycling Of Waste, Waste Recovery Activities.
