Para 1.21 | Total income for the financial year ended 31.12.23 was £25,434 (2022 was £22,146) and expenses were £21,828 (2022 was £31,924) generating a surplus for the year of £4,152 (2022 adeficit of £9,778) (All figures are the general fund and restricted funds combined) The surplus in 2023 arose largely due to a one-off grant received of £3,700 and savings in employment costs due to a vacancy for a youth worker, to which the charity is working to recruit to. Para 1.23 | During the year ended 31.12.23 the charity had a vacancy for a youth worker which they have actively sought to fill, but have not managed to do so as at 30.09.24. Subsequent to the year end the Centre Director has resigned wef 15.10.24, so the trustees are actively seeking to recruit a replacement. If these positions are not recruited to then the trustees will have to review the future of the charity. |
