The Trust is a grant-giving body established for the purpose of providing financial support to the Parochial Church Council of the Parish of Great Waltham with Ford End for the maintenance, repair and improvement (including extensions or new buildings) of the church buildings in Great Waltham and Ford End and also their churchyards.
Objects: The Objects Of The Trust Are To Raise Funds, Hold Funds And To Make Grants There From For The Following Purposes Or Any Of Them - 1. The Preservation, Repair, Maintenance, Restoration, Improvement, Beautification, Extension (Including New Separate Buildings) And Reconstruction Of The Churches And Of The Monuments, Fittings, Fixtures, Stained Glass, Furniture, Ornaments And Chattels In The Churches And Of The Churchyards Belonging To The Churches, And/or 2. In The Event Of The Churches (Or Either Of Them) Being Declared Redundant By A Pastoral Scheme Made Under The Pastoral Measure 1983 (Or Any Statutory Modification Or Re-Enactment Thereof) Or Otherwise Ceasing To Be Used Regularly For Public Worship, The Preservation, Repair, Maintenance, Restoration, Improvement, Beautification And Reconstruction Of The Churches As Buildings Of Historical Importance Or Architectural Value And Of The Monuments, Fittings, Fixtures, Stained Glass, Furniture, Ornaments And Chattels In The Churches And Of The Churchyards Belonging To The Churches For The Benefit Of The People Of The County Of Essex.
