TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS FOR THE PERIOD 1 APRIL 2024 to 31 MARCH 2025 KING GEORGE'S FIELD (FULMER) Also known as Fulmer Sports and Community Association ("FSCA") Registered Charity Number: 1081464 Structure, governance and management The Charity is governed under a scheme established in accordance with the Charities Act 1993. The Charity is an unincorporated association. The charity's trustees are selected on the following basis: • up to three are elected. • one or more each is appointed from the authorised organisations; and • two are appointed by Fulmer Parish Council. • no more than two further co-opted members may be appointed. The scheme allows for up to 14 committee members who serve until they resign or are no longer capable of performing their responsibilities. The Management Committee The Management Committee manages the day-to-day operations of the Charity. It meets approximately once every six weeks and the secretary or a designate for each meeting produces minutes. The meetings are generally held at the pavilion at King George's Field but when it is agreed some meetings were conducted via Zoom. The Charity is the beneficial owner of the premises and storage containers situated at the King George's Field, Fulmer Common Road, Fulmer in the county of Buckinghamshire, SL3 6JN. Risk management All potential users are subject to review and approval by the committee and/or by the management of the clubs. The principal risks are the misappropriation or misuse of funds of the Charity and of the use of the pavilion and field. This risk is mitigated by the close involvement of the committee through the representatives of the clubs and more through the manager of the facility. Risk management is also assisted by regular reports to the Management Committee on the status of the clubs that use the premises and of the plans and projects set up by the Management Committee or the clubs with the permission of the committee. In addition, the accounts are presented in brief format by the Treasurer at the committee meetings. Further, we have established a reserves policy which provides guidance to the trustees regarding when we need to take action to restore the financial resources of the charity. Objectives of the charity The Charity is responsible for the provision and maintenance of King George's Field, in the village of Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, for the furtherance and encouragement of sporting, recreational and community activities for those living in the parish of Fulmer and its near neighbourhood. Activities during the financial year During the year under review the Charity organised community activities such as Fulmer Family Fun Day and Fulmer Fireworks. It also provided facilities for exercise, art and mental health classes and for the sporting activities of the Fulmer Cricket Club, Gerrards Cross & Fulmer Football Club and Fulmer Tennis Club. Achievements and performance The Family Fun Day in May formed part of the Victory in Europe celebrations and was attended by around 500 people. The Family Fireworks event in November drew over 600 people and was significantly upgraded with spectacular fireworks and novelty activities such as stilt walkers. The Studio as an exercise space gained more traction with various new classes introduced over the year. 3

The football club has over 330 young members, including 70 girls, in the age group 7 to 18. The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charities Commission on public benefit. Investment Powers and Policy In accordance with the constitution, the trustees have the power to invest surplus funds for future projects. Future Developments On 23 September 2024 the trustees took the decision to appoint Fulmer Parish Council as the sole trustee of the Charity. The change is being made to achieve a more financially and administratively efficient management of the Charity. The Charities Commission has approved these arrangements and once the detailed organisational procedures have been put in place, Fulmer Parish Council will be appointed sole managing trustee, and the individual trustees will resign. It is planned that a management agreement will be put in place delegating the day-to- day management of the Charity to a Committee of Management. Financial review Statement on reserves: The trustees' aim is to have sufficient funds to underpin the day to day running of the Charity Funding to date has been obtained through a grant from Fulmer Parish Council, contributions from the clubs that use the facilities at the field and through the efforts of the committee who arrange fundraising events from time to time throughout the year. In addition, funds are also raised by sub-letting the pavilion and/or the field to interested parties There has been an increase in the use of the field by young boys and girls football skills' courses during school holidays. Results The results for the period are set out in the statement of financial activities on page 7 and the notes to the accounts on pages 9 to 11. TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS FOR THE PERIOD 1 APRIL 2024 to 31 MARCH 2025 KING GEORGE'S FIELD (FULMER) Also known as Fulmer Sports and Community Association ("FSCA") Registered Charity Number: 1081464 Independent examiner's report to the trustees of King George's Field (Fulmer) (Registered Charity Number 1081464) I report to the trustee on my examination of the accounts of King George's Field (Fulmer) (the Trust) for the year ended 31 March 2025. Responsibilities and basis of report As the Charity trustee of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act'). As the Charity's trustee you consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination is needed. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charities Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement My examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. Accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. The accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
