Activities
We provide professional and practical support to organisations working within the voluntary and community sector in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset. We want to see these communities healthy, diverse, vibrant and flourishing. Our mission is to empower the voluntary sector, enable volunteering and involve communities. We believe that together, we CAN make a difference.
Objects: 4(1) To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Dorset and the surrounding areas (hereinafter called "the area of benefit") and, in particular, the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness.4(2) To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end to bring together representatives of the voluntary organisations and statutory authorities within the area of benefit.
