OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Objectives and Aims The Spinfield School Parents Association was established for the purposes of advancing the education of the pupils attending the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not normally provided by the local education authority.

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable Activities
Donations and funds raised at social events has allowed the school to spend in the following areas this year;
Forest School, purchase of new laptops, educational licenses, new playground markings and the creation of the
wellness hub.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves policy
The trustees aim to maintain free reserves in unrestricted funds in order to be able to respond to urgent needs of the school.
The balance held as at 31 August 2023 was £49,441.77 — (£69,072.80 in prior year)
In July 2002, the Spinfield School Parents Association received a £15,000 grant from Buckinghamshire County Council
exclusively for the installation of solar panels via Solar4Schools project. This was completed and paid for in
September 2022 with all funds utilised. As such, the full £15,000 was allocated in restrcted funds as at 31 August 2022,
and zero as at 31 August 2023.
