Church Action on Poverty works with people living in poverty, the churches and others to overcome poverty in the UK. We aim to have a sustainable livelihood for all; give a voice to people living in poverty and encouraging a church that is mobilised to work with others to overcome poverty,forming alliances with those of good will from all faith and none.

Objects: A) To Promote And Advance The Education Of The Public In Matters Relating To Poverty And To Raise The Level Of Awareness And Understanding Of Poverty In The United Kingdom B)to Advance The Education Of The Public By Promoting Research And Study Into Poverty And To Provide And Encourage Investigation Into The Problems Faced By The Poor In United Kingdom And To Publish The Results Thereof C)to Advance The Education Of The Public In The Part That The Churches Can Play In Meeting The Needs Of Those Members Of Society Whose Development And Participation In Society Is Impaired By Poverty
