Activities
Income from the endowment is used to support a visiting professorship, financial support and funding for residential experiences for University of Sheffield students and graduates meeting certain criteria. Additional activities will include a lecture series and one-day colloquium.
Objects: (1) In The Award Of A Fellowship To Be Called The "Sir Henry Stephenson Fellowship" Tenable At The University Of Sheffield By A Person Who Is:-A) An Actual Communicant Member Of The Church Of England (With A Preference For A Person Who Is Or Intends To Be In Holy Orders In The Said Church), Andb) A Graduate Of A University In The British Isles Or Of Some Other University Approved For That Purpose By The Trustees; And Subject Thereto:(2) In The Award Of Grants Or Bursaries To Persons Studying For Holy Order In The Church Of England (With A Preference For Those Who Are Graduates Of The University Of Sheffield);(3) In The Promotion Of Religious Education In Accordance With The Doctrines Of The Church Of England For The Benefit Of Students Attending The University Of Sheffield
