The building maintenance costs for 2025 were £287,054 compared lo £261,989 in 2024. The Plaza undertook capital expendiluie of £14,370 during the year. Overall, the Plaza made a surplus of £41,67212024 surplus £75.219). A surplus on the General Fund of £91,696 was achieved (surplus £118,978 in 20241 and there was a deficit on the Capital Fund of £48,024 (compared lo a deficit of £47,759 in 20241. A deficit on the re51ricled fund of £2,00012024 surplu5 £2,000). The Plaza has received no public body funding during the year. The Charity is a Public Benefit Enlily as defined by FRS 102. The accounts are prepared in sterling. which is the functional ¢urrency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial slalemenls are rounded lo the nearest £. The accounts have been prepared undei the historical cost convention. The principal accounting polic￿5 adopted are sel out below 1.2 Going concem At the time of approving the accounts, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources lo continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The charity is not enlitled lo the income until il has been confirmed that the show or event has taken place. Shows and evenis can be cancelled and any ticket sale income would have lo bè refunded to the customer. 1.9 Financial In$truments The charity has elected lo apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Finanoal Instruments. and Section 12 '0theT Inslrutn8nls Issues, of FRS 102 to all ol its financial instruments.
