Rugby Youth for Christ were invited to host Rugby Free School's annual summer school for the transitioning year 6 as they begin year 7. This was a great success, and we have been invited to return in Summer 2024. Rugby Youth for Christ's mentoring programme recommenced in early September 2023. Working with 3 of the larger high schools in the town. Our team worked consistently during the academic year to deliver one to one mentoring, banking over 1000 hours of mentoring. We continued with students that needed ongoing support from before the summer holidays. Cases referred from all three high school (Harris, AVS, RFSI continued to be complex and involving multi agency collaboration throughout the academic year. Our lessons and assemblies recommenced in early September 2023. There was an increase in lessons booked during this academic year than in pre-pandemic years. In November 2023, members of the team updated their Safeguarding Training.
