Gilbert continues. The new or enhanced ponds created last year have been planted & GCN survey done for a second year. Visitors enjoy enhanced planting, new benches and signage. - Refurb of two historic plaques helps community connect with local Heritage. - Harrow Streams project aims to help protect local waterways by monitoring & reporting pollution and engaging with the public. |

Para 1.22 | The Trust’s funds totalled £184,116 at the end of the financial year March 2024. Four funds totalling £147,185 were designated as restricted to the uses described. These are Heritage Grants, Public Works of Art, Work with Young People and Headstone Manor: commitments or expenditure plans exist for parts of these. There is also an Unrestricted General fund of £36,931 which includes the activities of Harrow Nature Conservation Forum and the Brown Plaques committee. It is the Trust’s policy to maintain the balance of this fund at a level to cover administrative and support costs for a forward period of at least a year, and to respond to emergency and other applications for grants or support as and when they arise. The fund was maintained at an adequate level throughout the year. The Unrestricted General fund holds £6,339 in grant funding which is expected to be expended in the following year. This will be offset by further funds released in stages by existing grant agreements. |

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
