The trustees, who meet at regular intsrvals, administer the clwity and manage the day to day operations. Trustees The trustees during the year were: Mr. Aryeh Royde Mr. Julian Yehuda Teller Mr. Samuel Rosenthal Objeetlv¢s and Activltles The principal activity and objective of the charity is to advance the J¢wish faith and obscrvance. This is achieved by providing a synagogue, religious study and education facilities available to the Edgware Jewish commuDity and the wider community, as well as support for families and anyone facing difficulties. Achlevements and Perforniance During this financial period under review, the charity continued to maintsin the synagogue facilities and prayer SeiCe8 available to the comlnunity. During the p10d. the charity raised funds by way of donations and the charity will continue to raxse further funds to meet the ongoing rutu)ing costs of the synagogue and its programs. Arrang¢m¢nts are An place to support the needy and unemployed in various ways. For example, ¢ooked meals are provided for the sick and for families where the mother ha5 given birth. The charity continues to rely entirely on the voluntary work undertaken by members of the Jewish community. All fundsIng and administration is done without payment of any kind. Flnanclal Revlew During the period, the total income credited to the SOFA was £129,125 (£120,799 - 2023) which included gift ald tsx repayments of £7,01 l. An amount of £89,190 (£83,229 - 2023) was expended towards the day to day nwning costs of the synagogue and £30.560 (£29,749 - 2023) was paid th)nation5 and supp)rt for the needy. The amount held ID Teserve of £12,058 is expected to be sufficient to meet forthcoming expendittre. Page I
