Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The Millennium Green is used on a daily basis by wide cross-section of the people of Sonning Common. Its proximity to the Abbeycrest care home means that its residents are often taken around in wheelchairs, or walk the paths themselves. For many people it is a place for contemplation and the quiet enjoyment of the plants and flowers and wildlife. Others – runners, cyclists, serious walkers – use it for exercise. Many people regularly express their appreciation of it as an asset to health and spiritual wellbeing; and the trustees are at all mindful of that contribution, and the need to see that it is maintained. |

Should exceptional expenditure be required – as, for instance, on the provision of extra path and the repair and upgrading of the existing path in Spring 2026 – that is covered. |
