**basis by wide cross-section of the people**
**of Sonning Common. Its proximity to the**
**Abbeycrest care home means that its**
**residents are often taken around in**
**wheelchairs, or walk the paths**
**themselves. For many people it is a**
**place for contemplation and the quiet**
**enjoyment of the plants and flowers and**
**wildlife. Others – runners, cyclists,**
**serious walkers – use it for exercise.**
**Many people regularly express their**
**appreciation of it as an asset to health**
**and spiritual wellbeing; and the trustees**
**are at all mindful of that contribution, and**
