Activities
SCAS exists to enhance the quality of life of people and companion animals through the study of the human-animal bond. SCAS members are drawn from the health, social care, education and veterinary professions. SCAS uses a One Health approach - through multidisciplinary working utilising knowledge of the human-animal bond societal problems and animal welfare issues are addressed.
Objects: To Advance The Understanding Of Relationships Between People And Companion Animals. To Promote The Quality Of Life Of People And Pets By Encouraging Responsible Attitudes.to Disseminate Information About Human/companion Animal Relationships.to Offer Training For Those Who Provide Support To Bereaved Pet Ownersto Undertake Such Other Charitable Activities In Support Of The Charity's Primary Object
