TO PROMOTE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE AND PETS BY ENCOURAGING RESPONSIBLE ATTITUDES.TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ABOUT HUMAN/COMPANION ANIMAL RELATIONSHIPS.TO OFFER TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO BEREAVED PET OWNERSTO UNDERTAKE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE CHARITY'S PRIMARY OBJECT

**Activities:** SCAS exists to enhance the quality of life of people and companion animals through the study of the human-animal bond. SCAS members are drawn from the health, social care, education and veterinary professions. SCAS uses a One Health approach - through multidisciplinary working utilising knowledge of the human-animal bond societal problems and animal welfare issues are addressed.
