Sandy, Annie, Jonathan, Lisa, Natalie. Ali. Minutes of 2023 AGM approved. Chairman's report. Adrian welcomed attendees arKI reported another goos year for The Club. Systems are improving and equipment inventory increasing. Annie was welcoffled to her new role along with Dena and Charlotte joining as trustees. complian￿ and CPD are a consknt issue but we are coping reasonably well. Attention required for HR. Risk assessments and maintenance log along with regular fire drills. Communty engagement , rugby and yoga for example, are great and we should do what we can to help other clubs. The new Spa￿ created is fantasts'c and grateful thanks for all the help from mum's, dad's and members. We must be careful to ensure The Club conts'nues to go forward, SLanding still is not an opts'on. Treasurets report; attached. Trustees report; attached. Head Coach report; attached. Election of Officers and Committee. All incumbents were gratefully accepted as nominees. Lisa and Natalie were welcomed to The Committee. A nominal allcwance of £5k for 202415 was agreed for hardship support Ali and Natalie asked about tratning arrangements as members get older. We agreed there should be a vehicle to ensure they keep training and compets'ng where appropriate. A High Bar 'U' is in design stage and will encourage giant circles, this would be a first in the history of KGC. The aerial set up is in the planning stage, there will be some Complian￿ requirements and a potential large spend to get goping but a great OPPOrtunty. KiiyW Gym C1￿>AGm 2024. GLwlè Docs Head coach report We￿e had a brilliant year- Our new extension has been a huge help with the club expanding in numbers. We have a new beam, trampette and the new rings that have recently been put up. We have 3 new mats and a competits'on spring board on the way. We won the Tesco stronger starts fundraiser to be able to purchase the springboard. Our coach Charlotte has completed her level 2 General qualffication and has recenty signed up for a level I tumbling qualffication. Annie and Charlotte both completed their pre-school qualification at the end of last year. The new badge system has taken off realty well wilh lots of children passing and purchasing them. All children have the opportunity to complete this testing. Our next badge testing week is the week beginning Monday iv March and it is Bars and Beam. All of our badge testing W￿kS have been scheduled this week and are listed on the nevrfsletter each month. We've had several girls undertake their duke of Edinburgh volUnt￿ring with us." Charlotte and Hana completed theirs last year. We have Abi back volunteering for her gold award and Immi volunteering for her bronze award. Our classes are running smoothty throughout, our new pre-school class on a Friday has taken off really well and good numbers for our parent and tcKldler sessions. Annie and l are now offering private l-l coaching sessions. We have a new class on a Saturday for beginners as well. We launched a new Monday evening 2 hour class which we have had a really good uptake and Adrian has launched a new adult gymnastics class b￿nesdaY evening. We will be taking part in this year's Kingsbridge Fair week and will be perfonning our yearty display. We are also preparing for our yeaty club championships on May 12°. Our squad girls have been working hard -some of our girls took part in the regional Zinc championships at Exeter Imogen took * place on Bars eaming a bronze medal and Isabel earning 3, place on floor. We also took part in the fin and Zinc teams competition with our Tin team placing 2nd overall. 1st place for Charlotte, India pla￿d 3°. Our Zinc team placed 3° overall. And even more recenty 12 of our squad girfs undertook their Grades On Sunday 10 March at Penryn. All girls passed their grade with either a working above or W0￿1ng beyond result. We also received several placings. We received 10 bronze medals, 9 silver medals and 7 gold medals collectively. Annie and l are hoping to take some of the girls to their first tumbling competition in May to see rf the girls would like to add this to the repertoire. We would really like ary parents who are interested in the sport to come forward rf they would be interested in doing some judging. We struggle to enter competitions at times and often have to pay large fines to go out to compets'tions due to this.

G(K1j￿ Cws Annie's part I have been doing lots of marketing to advenise our new sessions as well as ty to boost our existing classes. l am also in touch wrth all the l(Kal primary schools. secondary schools and pre-schools to ty and offer them the chance to use our Spa￿ within their curriculum. Unfortunately lots of schools are facing budget cuts or have transport barriers but hopefulty we will be able to try and come up with a plan in the fijture. We have had 2 requests for us to offer after school sessions at 2 of the local primary schools which may also be an offer we can accommodate in the future with extra staffing. I have lots of new ideas for classes and sessions which indude; a daytime adult class. a drop in session for home ed children. more parent and toddler classes, Adult SEN *ssions. We have A new home Ed class that we launched on a Thursday Moming which is full, this is a mixture of abilities ranging from age 4 to 11. Our Gymclusive class is thriving. we have got a lovely bunch of regulars who show up each week as well as some fresh faces. Our half term Gymclusive session we had only 4 children tum up however, l am confident that this could increase in coming holidays. l am emailing out dl the special needs schools with details of our Gymclusive offerings which has been shared in the schools neV￿retterS. We also have had interest from BithNell Brook school in terms of them coming in to use our space wrthin their curriculum. Vrfe have had some interest from Kingsbridge Communrty College tCMJ. Our parties have been a huge hit since we have changed our pncing and offering. We now offer a structured paty at £150 or a non-structured paty which is £100. Our Structured parties include 2 coaches with up to 16 children-this is a mixture of games. structured learning and free time-optional for food as well. Our non-structured parties include I coach and up to 20 children with parental supervision. this is completely free play wrth the option for food add on if wanted. Most weekends in March have a party booked so its safe to say the parties have taken off successfulty. Leadership Academy Charlotte and I have been working on building up our leadership Academy. The leadership academy is an award scheme to help develop our young gymnasts within the sport. this can be leaming the different roles that are a part of gymnastics as well as the most IM￿rtant topics like mental health and safeguarding. They have opportunities to help out at various different level events-club, regional and nats'onal. Imogen Rundle and Oli Smyih are our CapLwns. We also have interested in working with us to complete the awards. Imogen. along with our helper Hana completed their Gymnastics helper award in 2023 which allows them to help coach their syllabus within our sessions. Hana be found helping out on a Monday and Tuesday evening. Imogen helps out at our holiday clubs when she's not doing her own sessions. Imogen recently undertook an intro to Mental health and wellbeing course as well as an intro to judging course to help advance her to her Bronze and Silver awards. Imogen has also set up a second hand leotard and gym wear sale as her project to help raise fiJnds for the club. Oli has completed

We completed major renovations and purchased a great deal of equipment, further securing its future. As a result of closing for all of August and not increasing our offering until the last couple of months of the year, we only saw a minimal increase of 4 % in turnover yr on yr. The club will be open for 12 months in 2024. The club invested a total £21k for our major refit, which has opened up the space and allowed us to welcome more members and put on additional classes I holiday clubs. We received a total of £12.008 grants and we would like to thank the following... Gibbons family, Norman family, DCC, Three sheets, Kingsbridge town council. We have a total of £6.500 grant money to spend in 2024. In 2023 we also saw the following The club has now posrtioned Itse￿ so we can expand our offering with lots of additional classes I which we have dready seen an increase of 33% in turnover between QI 2023 & QI 2024. We presented another successful Club champs, where we raised a total of £1,700. A total of 95 participated. The launch of our badge scheme A new online gym clothing shop Staffology - HR system We purchased a new trampette, boys rings and bars, Turnover £109,600 (Includes £12,008 grant) Expenditures = £105,178 (includes £21k refit) Net income = £4,422

The minutes should read, Tony Rundle was invited to join the Board of Trustees. . Trustee report; The Club has grown and and expanded it's offering once a8ain and is operating with due gard to the Goveming Document guidelines. Financial position is strong and The Club should be congratulated for maintaining a surplus withsuch challenging cost of living experieneces. The surplus which include a 'ring fenced, safety deposit equÉvalent to 12 months rent. Is considered too high. As a charitable organisation we should find ways to engage the surplus for the benefit of members and our community. Trustees suggest a sum be set aside. up to £5k. for the express use by children unable to beome a member due to financial hardship. It is not easy to identifythese children. Martina and Dena will contact our local primary and secondary schools for their suggested individuals. The Club already has a small sum set aside for current members in financial hardship. The re-modellin8 of The Club has been a great sucess. so muth extra useable space is now in constant Use by dasses. the work was largely carried out during the summer closure and The Trustees would like to thank contractors and volunteers for the superb result. Squad classes are in external competitions regularty and continue to enjoy success as well as achievlng personal goals. boys squad is intending to attend a competition before summer 2024 which will be a great development. Club Champs is scheduled once again and is eagedy anticipated by the enti￿ dub. The Club held a wonderful Christmas party which was very busyl The Gymclusive dass had a surprise visit from Father Christmas who made a big impact. There is a suggestion to include more members from non squad classes in a low key competition with another club. The Trustees encourage this. Questions were asked about risk assessment and compliance documents, Trustees are awa￿ they are in place but are concemed they do not appear to be available for public scrutiny. Similarly. HR documents are incomplete, contracts must be signed within a defined period to protect The aub and employee. Trustees suggest 7 days is sufficient from publication to signatu￿, employment offers should be withdrawn if there are undue delays for new employees and dixiplinary actions engaged for current employees.
