It has been a busy year for the Friend's committee. Fund raising has continued with excellent concerts held with Harborough Band, Youth Brass 2000 and Cantamici which were well supported and raised a total of £1600.00 after deducting expenses. A major activity in 2024 was the West Tower Project with fund raising for the renovation of the West Face of St Dionysius church, which realised the magnificent sum of £8985.00.The sum of £IOK was also Teceived, as an initial payment on a legacy received of £13K from one of our past Friends. We have been able to help St Dionysius Parochial Church Council, with a total of £1400.00 spent on glass door repairs, a Lightning Conductor Test and the clearing of gutters all being part of our charity remit to maintain the church fabric.
