It has been a busy year for the Friend's committee. Fund raising has continued with excellent
concerts held with Harborough Band, Youth Brass 2000 and Cantamici which were well supported
and raised a total of £1600.00 after deducting expenses.
A major activity in 2024 was the West Tower Project with fund raising for the renovation of the
West Face of St Dionysius church, which realised the magnificent sum of £8985.00.The sum of
£IOK was also Teceived, as an initial payment on a legacy received of £13K from one of our past
Friends.
We have been able to help St Dionysius Parochial Church Council, with a total of £1400.00 spent
on glass door repairs, a Lightning Conductor Test and the clearing of gutters all being part of our
charity remit to maintain the church fabric.
Donations are being maintained thanks to the generosity of our Friends supporters and we look
forward to another successful period in 2024125
