Chairman’s Report
I would like to thank each and every member of this prestigious Trust for supporting me over the last year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Last year has been a difficult one due to pandemic resulting in lower attendance.
There is lot of work to be done and we must continue to work diligently for the community. Finally if I have offended any one, I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Jazak Allah Khair.
Treasurer’s Report
Thank you for your support over the last two years. It has been a privilege to serve this Trust in managing its finances.

Finally if I have offended any one I humbly ask of your forgiveness. JazakAllah Khair.
Secretary’s Report
On reflection the last year as a Secretary of this Trust has been a journey that I will remember for sometime.

Ramadan
Both Imams performed recitation of the Quran after Zuhr (mid-day) prayers attracting a sizeable audience, enabling those in attendance to improve their Arabic and reading of the Quran.
At sunset complimentary water and dates were provided to those breaking fast at the Mosque, attracting a sizeable number for Magrib (sunset) prayers. The water and dates were donated to the Mosque and members of the congregation helped organise and distribute the dates and water.
During the month of Ramadan the Taravi Prayers were performed twice each night at different time slots to accommodate those that work late. Religious talks were also delivered after the Taravi prayers.
Eid Prayers
Two separate times for prayer were organised for both Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Adha to meet the needs of the community.
Funeral Service
Assistance given to bereaved families with the bathing and burial of dead bodies, in line with Islamic tradition. This service is delivered free of charge, with support and guidance from the Muslim Burial Council of Leicester (M.B.C.O.L).

Independent Examiners Report To Baitul Mukarram Mosque Trust
I report on the accounts of Baitul Mukarram Mosque Trust for year ended 31[st] March 2022
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The Charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of accounts. The Charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 and an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act: to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by Charity Commission under Section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act: and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiners report
My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An Examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present “true and fair view” and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent Examiner’s statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: i) which gives me reasonable cause to believe in any material respect the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section130 of the 2011 Act: and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act, have not been met: or ii) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
