Activities
Provides a community facility for the residents of the village and surrounding areas. The Hall is used for weekly keep fit sessions, book club, scabble club and a youth club. The Hall is used for Parish Meetings and as a Polling station. The Charity raises money for the the maintenance, refurbishment and upkeep of this historic thatched building.
Objects: (a) A Village Hall For The Use Of The Inhabitants Of The Parish Of Ashby St Ledgers Including Use For Meetings, A Surgery, Lectures And Classes And Other Forms Of Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants; And /or (b) Such Other Charitable Purposes Or Objects For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Area Of Benefit As May Be Approved By The Charity Commissioners.
