Access to GP face to face appointments has remained difficult for older pec*ple. There is a real need for our higher level of support which lit5 into the prevention agenda beSng promoted by both NHS England and the plan5 of North Yorkshire County Council Health and Adult Services. The limltations ol the NHS and Soclal Care for frail elderly people is becomln8 IncreasSn8ly obvlous wlth ever pressurSsed budgets. We often flnd cases of poor or inadequate SUPPDrt lor older people in the community. I want to thank the staff who have remained with us through all these tllfficultles and who have covered extra shifts due to the difficulty in recruitin8 Sultable staff. Thank5 also to familie5 who complied with our Infection control policy 50 willingly to keep their loved ones sèfe from Covld. Havln8 opened up both day care and bathln8 we found Inlrlally people were often too anxlous to come back and due alSD to recrultment Issues meant we were forced to close a8aln. Our Support at Home and Shopping Services were unchanged and have been very bu5V. We are a 8ood example of integrated support. The organlsatlon remains focu55ed on helping ihose with more complem and mulri-faceted social care needs living in the community. The limltations ol the NHS and Soclal Care for frail elderly people is becomln8 IncreasSn8ly obvlous wlth ever pressurSsed budgets. We often flnd cases of poor or inadequate SUPPDrt lor older people in the community. I want to thank the staff who have remained with us through all these tllfficultles and who have covered extra shifts due to the difficulty in recruitin8 Sultable staff. Thank5 also to familie5 who complied with our Infection control policy 50 willingly to keep their loved ones sèfe from Covld. The limltations ol the NHS and Soclal Care for frail elderly people is becomln8 IncreasSn8ly obvlous wlth ever pressurSsed budgets. We often flnd cases of poor or inadequate SUPPDrt lor older people in the community. I want to thank the staff who have remained with us through all these tllfficultles and who have covered extra shifts due to the difficulty in recruitin8 Sultable staff. We are a 8ood example of integrated support. The organlsatlon remains focu55ed on helping ihose with more complem and mulri-faceted social care needs living in the community.
