During the period the Charity received donations and Gift Aid of £243,765, all of which was granted to the College. The bulk of the donations and 8ift aid {£196,865) were to be used to fund the Va8elos Science Centre. Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or ser4ices identified in the accounts. Para 1.17and 1.19 The remaining donations of £46,9() were part of the Annual Giving Day Campaign and were unrestricted. One donation was to be used for financial aid. Public benefft The Trustees believe that the grants to Barnard College ultimately result in benefitting the wider public through furtherin8 education and research. March 2024 the Charity received £243,765 in donations and Gift Aid. Grants to the value of £243,765 were made to Barnard College. The largest portion of the grant was to fund the Vagelos Science Center renovation which prepares youn8 women for careers in science, technology, engineering, and math {STEMI fields.
