The objectives and aims of the charity are:
The advancement of education, in
particular, the education of students
attending Barnard College, Columbia
University, New York by awarding
scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries or
maintenance allowances tenable at the
College, and
at any other educational establishment
approved by the Trustees to people in
need of financial assistance, furthering
the education of such persons
The Charity aims to achieve its objectives by
making grants to Barnard College. During the
period the Charity received donations and Gift
Aid of £243,765, all of which was granted to
the College. The bulk of the donations and 8ift
aid {£196,865) were to be used to fund the
Va8elos Science Centre.

In the Financial Year ending 31. March 2024
the Charity received £243,765 in donations and
Gift Aid. Grants to the value of £243,765 were
made to Barnard College. The largest portion
of the grant was to fund the Vagelos Science
Center renovation which prepares youn8
women for careers in science, technology,
engineering, and math {STEMI fields.
The charity continues to work to improve and
develop funding for educational
establishments, in particular, for financial aid
towards deserving students and plans to
continue these activities in the future

The power of appointing new trustees of the
charity shall be vested in the president for the
time being of Barnard College or if there is no
such person willing and able to make such an
appointment in the sur4iving or continuing
trustees and the said president shall have
power exercisable by deed to remove any
trustee.
Any person who is for the time being the Vice
President for Development and Alumnae
Affairs of Barnard College shall become and
remain a Trustee during his/her term of office
as such Vice President and shall be deemed to
have retired on ceasing to hold such office (but
nothing in this sub-clause shall prevent the
continuing Trustees from appointing a former
Trustee including a former Vice President to be
a new or additional trusteel. If the power of
appointing new trustees is exercisable by the
Trustees. then a new trustee hereof may be
appointed by resolution of a meeting of the
Trustees and whenever a trustee is so
appointed a memorandum of his appointment
shall be prepared and signed by the person
presiding and attested by two other persons
present at such meeting.

charity (Ihe Trust.) for the year ended 3110312024.
Responsibilities and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you ar8 responsible for the preparation of th8
8ccounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Ihe Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b} of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that
disdosed below ") which gives me cause to believe that in. any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept In accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or

the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
