Swansea CVS exists to promote, support and develop the Third Sector in Swansea to maximise its potential for:- engaging, involving and empowering the public as active citizens; contributing to policies and strategies which shape the design and implementation of public services; and delivering quality service (alone or in partnership with others) for the benefit of the wider community.
Objects: To Promote Any Charitable Purpose For The Benefit Of The Community In Wales And In Particular The Designated Area And In Particular To Promote The Protection Of Health, The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And Distress And The Advancement Of Education By Supporting Other Voluntary Organisations Established For The Same Purpose And Promoting And Organising Co-Operation In The Achievement Of The Above By Bringing Together Representatives Of Third Sector Organisations And Statutory Organisations.
