Dlstributors such as Disney, once the bread and butter of cinema attendances has now mainly gone to Disney + with only a few films released for theatrlcal and only for a very short period of time before they are shown on their streamin8 platform. The issue of good films has also been hindered from the after effect of the writerfs strike, with very little new produrt coming to theatres. The Plaza has had to look at new revenue streams and have partnered wlth a number of Independent organlsations wlshing to showcase their work on the big screen. The National Theatre Live has also produced a number of successful screenings of thelr theatre work. This has proved extremely popular with sell out screenings.
