GOVERNING DOCUMENT AND CONSTITUTION The Dorset Guide ASs(￿lation is a separately constituted branch of The Guide ssociation which 15 incorporated by Royal Charter. We have held training opportunities for our leaders to continue to update their knowledge to enhance the many different activltles the girls participate in. Opportunities for all leaders to engage with the updated Safe Space requirements were put in place. In setting our objectives and planning our activities our Trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Dorset Guide Association is split into 13 Divisions, Blandford, Bournemouth North, Bournemouth South, Mid Dorset. North Dorset, North East Forest. North East Minster, P¢)ole East, Poole West, Purbeck, South Dorset, Twynham and West Dorset. A Division Commissioner is appointed to each area for a period of five years and takes on the role of Trustee to the County as part of that appointment.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Our Mlsslon is: through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, Insplrlng them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community. We offer a wealth of opportunities for girls, young women and adults on a regular basis. We have units all over Dorset offering weekly meetings, camping, indoor holidays, activity days, social evenings and international traveL. With the easing of COVID restrictions a slow and cautious resumption of face-to- face meetings began. The reduction in number of young members and volunteers, alongside the loss of venues has had an impact and this has seen many Units either closing or amalgamating. Much work has taken place within the Growth and Retention section, with the team attending several County show5 to publicise and to recruit volunteers. A celebration event was held at the Dorset Falconry Park for those glrls, and their parent, who had achieved their Gold Award at the end of their time in the Sect10n. Leaders were invited to 'Thank you, events, survival training and as well as the usual First response, safe space and programme opportunities. Celebrations were also held to mark the Queen's Platfnum Jubilee, including several Beacons being lit across the County. The Royal Signals at Blandford held an event for the Guide section. April saw the retirement of our County Administrator. A revlew of the changing needs of the County took place and the recrultment process started. FINANCIAL REVIEW The reserves on 30 September 2022 amount to £383,241 TRUSTEES, DECLARATION The trustees declare that they have approved the trustee's report above.
