The Trustees present their report for the activities of the charity for year ending 31st July 2025 Tho Charity is run by a board of 6 trustees and is an unincorporated Registeréd Charity Objectives and principal activitie8 New Generation Recreation Association is a registered charity. the objectives of which are to provide facilities for the purpose of leisure, education, and social opportunities within the area of Keadby. Record8 The Trustees have presented a fsir and accurate copy of financial statements for the year and there was an excess of income over expenditure. The Trustees confirm that the accounts have been independently verified and meet the requirements of the Charity Commission and are available to view on the Charity Commission Public register at www.charit commission. ov.uk The trustees have also kept an accurate record of all trustee meetings at which the business of the charity was conducted in accordance with current charitable law and gulations. Main achievements of this ron UI 2025 eriod The ambition for the year was to completely refurbish the upper floor and promote the use of the hall for community groups, private and corporate hires. Grant funding from various organisaiions were secured as the works were extensive. The village now enjoy the following activities took place over the year. Babes and Toddler Club- Keadby Caterpillars Craft Club Pilates Children'8 dance- SlreetbeatAc8demy Books N Brews- sllent reading c18SS Private party hires Corporate consultation event hire The residents are complimentary about the availability and standard of refurbishment the hall has undertaken works lo the value of £50k and added £10k of fixtures and fittings to make this building usable across both floors. New groups are coming online, and regular sessions are being established within the community. These groups are self-run by local residents, and we seek to continue to support their growth via an initial new group reduced hire of only £7.50 per hour for
their first 3 months of activity. We are keen to work with the community and support development and very clear that this building belongs to our community and a sense of pride and ownership has grown Sin we originally started this project. In September we look forward to the first youth club activity with Keadby 516 in its early stages of setting up offering a weekly term-time session for primary school aged children. The charity also looks after the Millenium Field and occupies it by way of a deed of trust. The field has been brought back into good use by trustee David Lloyd and new children's football teams are still emerging and the facility now has around 70 children playing. There is no charge for the use of the field by village children, and the upk88p is managed by volunteers. The site also houses a skate park which is maintained and insured by the Keadby with Althorpe Parish Council and is open and accessible to all without charge. The trustees have adopted a full suite of governing documents and policies to safeguard the charity these include. 1) Health & Safety 2) Child Safeguarding 3) Adult Safeguarding 4) D8ta Protection 5) Financial Regulations 61 Environmental 7) Fire Risk & Evacuation 8) Conflict of Interest The trustees made adequate provision for risk via public liability insurance and compliance to general charitable and accounting principles. The trustees make judgements and estimate that are prudent and reasonable. The trustees take responsible steps for the prevention of fraud and other irreaularities to safeguard the charity. Going FoThArd Into 2026 - Keadby Village Hall New groups are still coming online and regular sessions are being established within the community. These groups are self-run by local residents and we seek to continue to support their growth via an initial new group reduced hire of only £7.50 per hour for their first 3 months of activity. We are keen to work with the community and support development and very clear that this building belongs to our community and a sense of pride and ownership has grown since we originally started this project. children. We hope that with adequate numbers of volunteers the group can extend to older children and young people. We are also looking into the start up of a community cinema to help redu isolation particularly in some of older residents. Trustées- The Charity Is actively seeking more trustees in the coming year as activities and responsibilities grow we are Going Forward into 2026 - Millenlum Fleld The charity also looks after the Millenium Field and occupies it by way of a deed of trust. The field has been brought back into good use by trustee David Lloyd and new children's fcotball teams are still emerging and the facility now has around 70 children playing. There is no charge for the use of the field by village children and the upkeep is managed by volunteers. We understand there are plans afoot for a girls football team which will be the first on@ in Ke8dby go anothér welcome opportunity for our community. Julie Reed is working with David Lloyd to establish a Syr plan to develop the football field services and premises to ensur8 that it meets the needs and aspirations of our sporting community. Julie will complete the necessary funding bids to ensure that we can deliver on these plans. The Charity will need to consider this within its financial planning as there will be additional utility costs and the need for contribution to grant as match funding. Trustees- The Charity is actively seeking more trustees in the coming year as activities and responsibilities grow we are needing more people to support the hall with skills and experience. AccountSng The Charity held its public advertised AGM on 12th January 2028, presented and approved the accounts and confirmed all matters have been dealt with as required by the Charity Commission
