within the designated flying start areas for 12.5 hours childcare per week. In addition, 3-year-old children who qualify for funding (term after their 3rd birthday) will be funded for 10 hours per week. The 30 free hours childcare scheme offers 20 hours of grant funded provision for children aged 3 years and above. The three grant streams are the main sources of finance for the cylch. Any further income is raised through independent placement, fund raising or charitable donations. The cylch is run by qualified, experienced staff. As the cylch are a Flying Start provider it is required that each member of staff be qualified to NVQ level 3 or working towards this and the leader and manager are qualified to NVQ level 5. All members of staff hold a current Child protection certificate. The leader will ensure that there is a member of staff with a first aid certificate in each session but the cylch ensure that each member of staff have a paediatric first aid certificate. Each member of staff holds a food safety certificate.
Financial Review
