SCCYC is a Multi-Award winning innovative, forefront organisation that serves disadvantaged communities in the Town as well as BAME communities in Northamptonshire. Services: Support & poverty, training & education, volunteering scheme, health & well being, sport & leisure, Sikh-Punjabi heritage, creative & performing arts, youth club, elderly centre, ladies group.
Objects: (1) The Objects Of The Association Are To:(2) Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Northampton And The Neighbourhood (Hereinafter Called The Area Of Benefit) Without Distinction Of Sex Or Sexual Orientation Or Race Or Of Political Or Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Saidinhabitants, The Local Authorities, And Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To:(a) Advance The Education Of The Said Inhabitants(b) Provide Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation For The Said Inhabitants In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving Their Condition Of Life.(c) Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (Hereinafter Called The (Centre) And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Or Other Person Or Body) In Furtherance Of The Above Object.
