Para 1.17 | Ruperra Conservation Trust has as its objectives the conservation and restoration of Coed Craig Ruperra specifically, and the area of Rudry and district generally, for the benefit of native wildlife and biodiversity. The Trust also conserves its scheduled ancient monuments and maintains access on Coed Craig Ruperra for the benefit of local people and other visitors. |

The Trust has continued to work on its restoration programme while maintaining paths and tracks for public benefit. Further work was done on hedge restoration, coppice replanting and heathland restoration with funding from the Landfill Disposal Communities Fund grant of £49,700. While the Covid-19 pandemic forced many activities to be put on hold, and volunteer group meetings were suspended for most of the year, contractors continued to undertake essential replanting of Coed y Goitre and maintenance of both woodlands. |

1a Coed y Goitre was purchased in July 2019 with a loan of £90000 from members of the charity with a 2% annual interest rate; the repayment was completed on 01/02/21

No depreciation has been applied to the Land Rovers/trailer which are considered to have high salvage values.

Depreciation at 20% per annum previously applied to equipment: this has now reached a write-off level and no further depreciation on current machinery will be applied.

All funds are restricted to woodland management and associated costs on Coed Craig Ruperra and Coed y Goitre
Audit Exemption Statement
For the year ending 31/03/2021 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
Directors’ responsibilities:
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476, the directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies’ regime.
