Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Summerfest 2023
Our much anticipated, SummerFest, was a
huge success with Battle of the Bands, Raffle,
Bar, Cocktails, fruit Chocolate fountain,
Burgers, Games, Kickball Inflatable dartboard &
Bouncy Castle. A huge effort by the team to
decorate and set up the stalls within a short
window resulted in a great party enjoyed by
all.
Jumble Sale 2023
Yet another fantastic Jumble Sale organised by
Mary Kavanagh

sincere thanks to Mary for
leading this again. We had more than 80
people volunteering, manning stalls, selling tea
and
cake and providing security, and many
people attending if the overall total takings is
anything to go by!
Christmas Trees 2023
Many families bought their Christmas trees
through our school. Organised by Laurel Ives
this provides a good injection of funds. Thank
you to Laurel.
Table Top Sale 2024
Lucy Baron Thompson is the creative talent
behind this event. We have 33 stalls each
paying a fee for their stall and then taking
home what they make - There were also some
young children trying their hand at selling
which is great to see. Sellers seemed happy
with the footfall. The event felt busy and
there were lots of great things to buy and an
area to have some Casca tea and cake.
Quiz Night & Auction 2024
We sold all tickets to the quiz which included
food organised by Sandra, a welcome drink, a
fantastic quiz composed by Kathy Neal and
presented by Nick Grosso and a Silent and On-
the-Night Auction of incredible lots, hosted by
Giles and Esther Coren. We also had 2 tables of
sixth formers and a table of teachers, who

won…. again! Thanks to Rosie Dickens for designing the auction website and to Jules for tech support on the night. We also had a lot of extra help from 6[th] formers preparing the food platters. Summerfest 2024 Our anticipated, SummerFest, was a huge success with Battle of the Bands, Raffle, Cocktail Bars, Bubble Tea, Waffles, Burgers, Games & Bouncy Castle. A huge effort by the team to set up attractive stalls that created a party atmosphere & resulted in an end of year enjoyed by all. Bars Casca has supported school music & theatrical events with bars generating significant funds. We now run a bar for an annual alumni event that Miss Law hosts. They provide a warm reception and are a way of getting to meet new parents who often get involved as Casca volunteers. Thanks to those involved As well as the event leads, we have had fantastic support from other parents, and we are very grateful.
