Para 1.17 | The object of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school by: 1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school 2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. |

The PTA organised several community fundraising events at the school, including a Fireworks night, Late Summer Fair, Christmas fair, Christmas cards, “Elfridges” gift buying for Christmas, Mothers Day and Fathers Day, Boldmere bars, Iftar, Tea towels, school discos and ice cream sales after school. In addition the PTA has operated a used school uniform shop to further raise funds. The PTA communicates with the school community through PTA newsletters, a website and social media posts. Parents are openly invited to attend the AGM and volunteer their time or ideas. The PTA provides financial grants to the school following written applications by any staff member of the school using a designated funding application form. These are then reviewed on a two stage process: 1. Firstly by the Trustees to determine that (a) the application falls within the objects of the charity and (b) that the charity holds sufficient reserves to make the grant |
| 2.Provided (a) and (b) are confirmed by the Trustees then the application is published to the committee members who vote whether to support each request in full or in part. If a majority is found in favour of the application then the grant is made by BACS to either the Junior or Infant School accordingly. All funds raised are to be used for the benefit of the school via the provision of grants. Neither the trustees nor any volunteers receive any remuneration other than for expenses properly incurred in the running of the organisation and its activities. The PTA provided 14 such grants to the school totalling£19,545 The PTA also provided coats through the ‘No Cold Child’ programme at£240and direct gifts for the children in the form of a book at Christmas at a value of£723.All of these are included in the PTA accounts school donations at a total of£20,508. |
