In addition the PTA has<br>operated a used school uniform shop to<br>further raise funds.<br>The PTA communicates with the school<br>community through PTA newsletters, a<br>website and social media posts. Parents<br>are openly invited to attend the AGM and<br>volunteer their time or ideas.<br>The PTA provides financial grants to the<br>school following written applications by any<br>staff member of the school using a<br>designated funding application form. These<br>are then reviewed on a two stage process:<br>1. Firstly by the Trustees to determine<br>that (a) the application falls within<br>the objects of the charity and (b)<br>that the charity holds sufficient<br>reserves to make the grant|





|||2.Provided (a) and (b) are confirmed<br>by the Trustees then the application<br>is published to the committee<br>members who vote whether to<br>support each request in full or in<br>part.<br>If a majority is found in favour of the<br>application then the grant is made by BACS<br>to either the Junior or Infant School<br>accordingly.<br>All funds raised are to be used for the<br>benefit of the school via the provision of<br>grants.  Neither the trustees nor any<br>volunteers receive any remuneration other<br>than for expenses properly incurred in the<br>running of the organisation and its<br>activities**.**<br>The PTA provided 14 such grants to the<br>school totalling**£19,545**<br>The PTA also provided coats through the<br>‘No Cold Child’ programme at**£240**and<br>direct gifts for the children in the form of a<br>book at Christmas at a value of**£723.**All of<br>these are included in the PTA accounts<br>school donations at a total of**£20,508**.|
