Section C Ob"ectives and activities To offer earty years care and education through the medium of Welsh to every ¢hikl undef school age. (Cyl¢h Merthrin Bethesda Statement of Purpose 2023) Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governlng document The aim of the Cylch Bethesda (hereinafter referred to as 'The Cylch,) is to offer early years care and educatson through the medium of Welsh to every child under school age. The Cylch aCptS children between the ages of 2 - 4 years whatever their needs, colour, ethnic ongin, religion, social background or family situation and can accommodate a maximum of 24 children per session The Cylch welcomes children with special needs and is commttted to providing appropriate support to children with educational or physical difficulties. The Cylch confomis to the registration conditions laid down by the 1989 Children Act, regarding the age of children and the numbers allowed. Admission times are 09".00 hrs to 11'.45 hrs - Monday to Friday for sessional care and 09".00 hrs to 13.00 hrs for Wrap Around Care, there are currently no aftemoon sessions. The Cylch endeavours to develop children through play. creating a happy, secure. caring and stimulating environment where boys and girts can reach their ag8 Potential. All session$ are planned beforehand with a mix of acllvrtS aimed at retaining the interest of young minds. Session plans are avallable on request. All sessions start with registration and feature a dnnk and snack break mid session with at least one structured ath'vty wrth a free play and story period. Children, whilst in our care, will remain the legal responsibility of the parenuguardian and will be cared for according to individual chikl contracts. The Cylch would wish for all children to be accompan by erther their parent or guardian after registrknon untll the child is happy to attend unaccompanied. The operation of the Cyich is regulaty evaluated utilising a brief parenuguardian questionnaire {HOL1). However if any parent or guardian has Cause to make a complaint they can do so by either contacting the registered persons.. Trustees follow the constitution whith advises of their obligations under the Charrties Act 1993 wrth regard lo 1. The keeping of accounting records for the Association. 2. The preparation of annual statements of account for the Association. 3. The audrting of independent examination of the statements of account of the Assoaation 4.
