Friends of Rornero is a chaiity, and it exists for Iwo main reasons, 1. To ralse money to provide addltlon81 resour{￿ to the chlldren and u8ers of the school and to support the teachers and govemors in glvlng our chlldren the best posslble exp8rf8nc8 here at St Oscar Romero 2. To run events that give great experiences to the chlldren, families, friends, and communlty of St Oscar Romero. AS a parent. you aLrtomallcally bo(x>me a member of Frfend8 of Romero, and we are very keen for as many parents as possible to get involved, as litt18 or as much as you cxn. as wIthr￿t the support, we are unable to run the events and support th8 s￿￿01. Once 8g8in, we have had a great year not only is it about the fundralsing but al80 bringing the famllles of our thool and our communlty together. I look back wlth satlsfactlon and prlde for what we have achieved together. Our fantsstic firework display brnught in a record number even with a date change agaln thanks to the raln, wlnd arKI flooded fleld. We also had to have a sfte plan change too but worked out brllllanlly. Then for our Christrnas events we ran the much-loved Chrisknas fair with our amazlng Father Chrlslmas and elves. At the start of 2024 we held a new event-Blngo, a Special thank you to Mr Noye who made the evening a fantastic success . In April we held our 2nd Romero Run with the introduction of Ihe Rav8 Run. Then Into summer our mosl challenging event this year. The summer falrf The wealher truly wa8 not on our slde this year and with hours to go moving th8 whole fair insidé the team did an incredible job.
