MARANATHA MINISTRIES Trustees, Report The trustees present their report and accounts for the period ended 31 March 2024 Objectives and Activities of the Charity The objectives of the Charity as set oul in the Declaration of Trust are.. al the advancement of the Christian Faith in Ihe United Kingdom and abroad b) the relief of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress or who are aged or sick, in the United Kingdom or abroad. The principal activities of the church are Christian worship and involvement of various ministries and ministers of religion in propagating Christian tenets to members (and non- members) of the Ministry at various meetings. To achieve these objectives, the Church was involved in Christian outreach programmes designed to increase Christian awareness and spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Achlevements and Perfonnanco of the Charlty Maranatha Ministries continued its efforts in the preaching of the gospel and increased awareness of the Christian faith in and around the community the church is situaled. Many people were ministered to during the year by way of prayer, counseling, and offered help and support as befitting as possible. Evangelistic outreach was heightened and the pleasing thing is that many people in the community were reached with the simple message of the gospel. Distribution of leaflets and tracts was done and the response has been very encouraging indeed. We have seen people visit us in our services from time lo time and our prayer is that visitors who come in will stay lo become potential members of the church. Future Developmenl and other related activitles For future developments and other relaled activities. the Church will continue to focus its activities lo meet the objectives of the charity as prescribed above. There would be more emphasis on evangelistic outreach, Worship, Missions and also carry out a building project. Independent Examlners Ephraman & Co have expressed their willingness to remain in office as Independent Examiners Approval This report was approved by the board on 10 Seplember 2024. MARANATHA MINISTRIES Independent Examiner's Report Independent Examiner's report to the trustees of Maranatha Ministries We report on the Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2024 set out on pages 4 107 Res ective res onsibilities of trustees and examiner The charrty s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is nol required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. 11 Is my responsibility to.. Examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, To follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145{51{b) of the Charities Act), and To slate whether particular maltefs have come to my attention Basls of inde endent examiner's statement My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of Ihe accounts presented with those records. 11 also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from Ihe trustees concerning any such mallers. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as lo whether the accounts present a 'lrue and fair, view and the report is limited lo those matters sel out in the statement below Inde endent examiner's statement In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention. 11 which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements.. lo keep accounting records in accordance wrth section 130 of the Charities Act., to prepare accounts which accord with the accounling records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act have not been met., or 21 to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
