Activities
Somali community Centre undertakes the following activities: Advice and information Service to our ease their access to services available locally; Housing Advice Service for the benefit of our clients advice relating to their housing needs; and Out-Reach service where we support families to ensure their needs are met.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Somali Community World-Wide Without Distinction Of Race, Colour, Gender, Age, Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations, Education Institutes, Other National And International Organisations And Somalis World-Wide In A Common Effort To Relieve Poverty, Advance Health, Advance Education And Culture, As Well As Integrating The Somali Community Into The UK Or Other National Communities. To Provide Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage.to Provide Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For (Principally) The Somali Community, To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (Hereinafter Called "The Centre") Or Centres And To Maintain And Manage, Or To Co-Operate In The Management And Maintenance Of Such A Centre Or Centres For Activities In Furtherance Of The Objects.
