Summary	ofthe purposes	of the	Pars 1.17	'fhe aims		ofthe Pn. school are to enhance the development and education ofchildren,

				We offer Sessions		pre-school sessions to children aged between 2 years to 5 years old run each weekday morning frorii 09.15-12.15 and 12.15-15.15 on hastate
				Tuesdays		&Thursday (Summer term oniyl fore years only.
				The overall management and control ofthe Pre-school will rest with the
				Individual		members ofthe Pre-school's management Cominittee ("the
				Committee"). As well as being responsible forthe management ofthe Pre-
				school the Committee members arealso the charity trustees ofthe Preschool.
				To further it aims the Pre-school following powers:
				~		to provide accommodation and equipment;
				~		to ia isa money to pay forthe Pre-school's acti vities:
				~		to make such payments as shag be necessary;
				~		to fix and collect the fees payable in respect of children
						attending groups run by the Preschool;
				~		subject to adherence with all applicable legislation, to controlthe
						admission of chiiuren to the groups run by the pre-school andif
						appropriate, require parents or guardians to withdraw them as a
						member ofthe Preschool Learning Alba nca to send an accredited
						representative to vote at local Branch and/or County meetings and
						to the national Annual General Meeting of the Preschool Learning
						Alliance;
				~		to barrow money and to charge the whale or any part ofthe
						property of the Pre-school as security for any money borrowed
						subject to complying with the provisions ofsections 39and 39ofthe
						Charities Act 1993if it is proposed to mortgage land to hire or
						acquire assets of any kind;
				~		to buy, lease or rent any land or buildings and to maintain and
						equip it for the use ofthe Pre-school;
						to sell, lease orotherwise dispose ofall or any part ofthe Preschool's
						property subject to complying with the provisions affections 36and 37of
						the Charities acts1993;
						to set aside funds for special purposes or as reserves agamstfuture
						expenditure; to maintain and pay For membership ofthe Pre-schooi
						Learning Alliance;
						to insure the property and assets of the Pre-school against any foreseeable

				the children to enjoy during the year, but sadly we have had a year with COvl D 19restricting all aspects ofoutside life and life at the preschool. 0has been a year full ofchallenges for the
				staff at the setting trying to balance keeping day to day as normal sspossible for the children

Along with keeping the children safe, all staff have also had to (ry where pomible to keep themselves and their own families safe I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for everything that they have done for the preschool which has been above and beyond the normal expectations. 				We are hoping that we will be able ta reintroduce hmdraising events during this year and this
				will hopefully include ihe Christmas Payre, which has been a massive fundraismg event for
				the preschool in previous years. We mal ly do need the help ofeveryone when it comes to
				fundraisi ng and this year, I would like it ifwe cauld have a designated person who can
				oversee this More on this a httle later this evening.
				This year saw the introduction ofa lunch club. This is an optional hour added on to the morning session st a price off5 50 —with children bnng their lunch, toenjoy eating together
				and listening to a story. This hss boosted our financial position for the year and seems to be	a
				big hit for the children snd staff.
				The cost ofanon-funded session is now f16.50 per session. We charge an extra EI per
				session for cleming, and we invoice 50p for snack money.
