Results The financial position of the charity at the end of the financial y¢ar is as detailed in the attached financial statements. Income foT the year was £52.981. Revlew of Aetivltles Dllrtng the YeAr The period under review ivas particularly ¢hall¢nging as the impact of th¢ lockdown coupled with rising cost and the debt 8enerated by the legal challenge to Newham Council's efforts to remove the Associations premises licen¢¢. Adjustments to the services. specifically ent¢rtaimnent services had to be ade to ac¢omffliKlate th¢ restrictions on the Premises Li¢¢nce imposed by the Court. Operating hours were scaled back and the overall cost of deliv¢ring ¢nt¢rtainment service incr¢ased. Day Centre Servi¢¢s have y¢t to recov¢r: the number of clients attending on a regular basi5 have not risen abov¢ five. Here it TEkUSt be noted that referrals from the Council have virtually stopped. wtth only one client b¢ing referred during this period. Resident organisations 8k)ngside renting the facility have b¢¢n the main source of in¢om¢.

Hibiscus Virtual Gall¢ry. and leisur¢ and recFeation, BRUKOUT th¢ streaming of live musiLal perfuTmances was successfully continued through0 this pcriod. Hibiscus's Youtube Channel "Hibiscus Community Cenlre" continues to attract interest and the target of achieving Fivephundred Subscribers was achieved and surpassed. Hibiscus Live Community Radio has been fully e5tablished- and the groundwork of coordinatinu content acmss Youtube Instagram, Hibiscus's website and other digital platfomis, with a view to monetising th¢ content on these plarfonns. Networking within and across the cultural sectors continues to be an important activity in maintain both profile and relevance. The partnerships with Sadlets We115, Druvnbeal, Soca Massive, and the Dub Exposure Band were especially productive in delivering additional resources. skills, ¢xp¢ri¢nce and opportunity for MenibeTS and volunteers to draw on. A new pat1nership &ssisting Ivith the distribution of FREE VITAMIN D tablets was established with N¢wham Public Health. Members and Friends continue to be a source of strength and support. here howcvcr it must be noted that fonnal Membership has fallen and ivill require sterling work to Store it. Future Plans In looking to the fLItLire our priority will be in securing a long terni lease for our premises from Newham Council. S¢rious efforts will be made to upgrade services across the board by iitilising the nstruments of neNv technology. A website and oniiDe media platforKns ivtll be established with a view to ra15ing the prnfile of th¢ or8anisation whilst marketing its services Volunteers Volunteers continue to be the back1Ke of the service. Day Care delivered on Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of10.00am -3.30pm continue to be popular with a h¢ahhy ttelanCe. Attendees participatc in a range of activities which encourage physical and mental wellbein& and help to promote the individuals iDd¢p¢nd¢n¢e and s¢if¢sleem. The lunih¢on Club cuntinues to provide culturally approprtate meals.
