Achievements and Performance

SORP reference

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to the
circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a whole.
Para 1.20 The national lockdowns resulted in a
suspension of all activities.
With the easing of restrictions, we were able
once again to offer the community a place to
gather and socialise at the coffee mornings and
social evenings.
Bonfire night 2021 proved extremely popular
and the committee were forced to turn people
away from the door. The large numbers were
not expected, but due to social media vast
numbers from outside the locale arrived. As it
was an un-ticketed event some villagers were
unable to enter the hall. The committee have
noted this and subsequent events may be
ticketed to prevent a similar occurrence.
2022 will see the return of the fete and duck
race in July following a 2-year absence.
Further plans include several craft fairs, in aid
of local charities and Fiends of Bawburgh
Church.
